Ep. 47 — A Gift in Secret, Diligence & Kingdom Reward — Proverbs 21 & Matthew 20

“A gift in secret pacifieth anger; and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.”
“There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.”
“The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenty; but every one that is hasty only to want.”
These verses reveal a Kingdom pattern of measured response, divine sovereignty, steady diligence, and disciplined counsel. A gift given quietly — without fanfare — diffuses conflict. Spirit‑led action, done humbly in alignment with Yahweh’s heart, softens strife and brings peace.
There is no wisdom, understanding, nor counsel against Yahweh’s will. Human advice, apart from divine direction, cannot stand against God’s purposes. The diligent — those who labor with patience, discipline, and consecrated intention — tend to increase and flourish. Hasty action produces lack.
In Matthew 20, Jesus teaches about Kingdom service and reward. His parable of the laborers in the vineyard reminds us that Kingdom reward is not human calculation but the Father’s just and gracious order — and that purpose aligns with obedience, not self‑will.
