Ep. 51 — Guarded from Deceit, Endurance & the Gathering of the Elect — Proverbs 25 & Matthew 24
In Proverbs 25:2, 4, 5, 12, and 19 (KJV), we receive a blueprint for discerning leadership and personal conduct:
- “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”
Spiritual maturity searches with diligence.
- “Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.”
Purify the vessel for clarity.
- “Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.”
Clear the way for truth to reign.
- “As an earring of gold… so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.”
Instruction is precious when received well.
- “Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth…”
Don’t lean on the wicked. Their support will fail.
Matthew 24 contains Yeshua’s warning against deception and signs of the end:
“Take heed that no man deceive you.”
Many will come saying, “I am Christ,” and deceive many. Wars, famines, and false prophets will rise. Sin increases, love grows cold. But the gospel of the Kingdom will be preached before the end.
Many endure without preparation because they’ve trusted tradition, not revelation. But Revelation 3 shows the contrast — those who keep the Word of God’s patience will be spared the hour of testing. These are the elect who walk in discernment, sanctification, and obedience. Revelation 3:12 promises, “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God… and I will write upon him my new name.”

Two Paths:
- Endure without preparation — deceived by false Christs, lacking discernment.
- Walk in the Name, truth, and patience — and be gathered early with the elect.
Yeshua says, “Watch therefore.” Don’t be like those in Noah’s day who ignored warning. Be ready.
The parable of the fig tree warns of timing: know the season. As lightning flashes from east to west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. First on earth, then revealed from heaven.
Spiritual Insight:
Many will say, “He is in the desert,” or “He is within,” but don’t believe them. The true Christ doesn’t arrive through rumor or personal projection — He appears in power and glory. Discernment is key. Watch for the gathering. Watch for clarity. Watch for fruit.
