How to Move From Patreon

Leaving a platform should not mean losing your archive. Here is the whole move, in order, with nothing hidden.

Save a copy of your highest-value posts, in case your old account access changes mid-move.

Note which posts are member-only so you can gate the same ones again.

List the platforms where you share your link — bio, description, newsletter footer, pinned posts.

Decide your announcement: why you are moving, and what your community gains by following you.

The Six Steps

  1. Step 1Paste your Patreon link

The importer reads your public creator page — your name, avatar, banner, about text, and posts.

  2. Step 2Choose your new page address

Pick a clean URL for your RealizeUs home. This becomes the link you share from every other platform.

  3. Step 3Review your imported posts

Text, images, links, and embedded YouTube videos come across. Read through and fix anything that referenced the old platform.

  4. Step 4Rebuild your membership tiers

Recreate your free follow and paid tiers with your own names, prices, and benefits. Nothing is locked to a template.

  5. Step 5Invite your community

Send your members the new link. This is the moment the relationship becomes directly yours instead of a platform's.

  6. Step 6Run both, then close the old one

Publish in both places for a few weeks. When most of your community is already here, retire the old page on your own schedule.

Migration Questions

How long does moving from Patreon take?
Importing a page usually takes a few minutes. Inviting your community and settling into a new posting rhythm is the part that takes real time — most creators run both platforms for a few weeks.
Will my members transfer automatically?
No platform can move someone else's payment relationship for you. Your posts and page come across automatically; your members join by invitation, which is also the moment they become directly yours rather than a platform's.
What happens to my YouTube videos and images?
Embedded YouTube videos keep working, and images are stored with your new page so your archive does not depend on your old profile staying online.

Bring Your Memories Home

Your posts, your people, your standards — in a home that does not change the rules on you.
