Proverbs 3:26–27 (KJV)

“For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.”

These verses combine divine assurance with moral responsibility. The Lord is our confidence — our protector, provider, and guide. But that divine backing doesn’t exempt us from responsibility; it empowers us to act. If it is within your ability to do good — to meet a need, to help the poor, to act righteously — then you are obligated to act.

This applies especially to the Sabbath, the day set apart for rest and righteousness. Jesus said, “It is lawful to do well on the sabbath days” (Matthew 12:12). If it’s in your power today to give, serve, bless, or heal — don’t wait. Act. Withholding good when you are able is not just passivity — it becomes sin (James 4:17).

How the ZeGoDie Relate to This Proverb

Today’s ZeGoDie reading highlights the sacred responsibility of nourishment — both literal and spiritual. The AlphaGram shows the present call to provide sustenance to others, and the OmegaGram reflects a past posture of decrease or reduction that prepared you to give more wisely now.

Provision is not just about food. It is about feeding with truth, encouragement, resources, and compassion — as God supplies your own soul.

What the ZeGoDie Are

The ZeGoDie — the Rainbow I Ching Oracle Dice — are a seven-die spiritual oracle system rooted in the I Ching, revealing energetic and spiritual movement across the seven dimensions of being:

  • 🔴 Red — Body
  • 🟠 Orange — Emotion
  • 🟡 Yellow — Mind
  • 🟢 Green — Intuition
  • 🔵 Blue — Voice
  • 🟣 Indigo — Intention
  • ⚪️ Violet — Spirit

Each ZeGoDie cast reveals:

  • AlphaGram — What is active now
  • OmegaGram — What formed the past or is forming next
  • Branching/GrowthGrams — The flow and transformation of energy

They do not predict. They reflect spiritual movement and alignment — a mirror for the inner life.

Today’s ZeGoDie Reading

AlphaGram (Now): 27 — The Nourisher (Mountain over Thunder)

The current moment is defined by nourishment — the receiving and giving of life-force. This may relate to literal food, wisdom, attention, or care. You are being asked: “What are you feeding others? What are you being fed?”

Branching from 27 →

  • 52 — Keeping Still: Stillness before action. Discern before feeding.
  • 36 — Darkening of the Light: Protection of inner wisdom in a hostile environment.

Flow:

Nourishment → Stillness → Discernment → Hidden Wisdom

The wisdom here is not to feed indiscriminately. Just as Jesus warned about casting pearls before swine, this gram advises giving only as guided by Spirit — without ego, urgency, or approval-seeking.

OmegaGram (Past): 41 — Decrease (Mountain over Lake)

The past shows a reduction — a time when you had less or were intentionally simplified. That moment of “less” refined your ability to give more wisely today.

Branching from 41 →

  • 18 — Work on What Has Been Spoiled: Repairing broken patterns.
  • 52 — Keeping Still: Again, silence and discernment — recurring as both past and present instruction.
  • 36 — Darkening of the Light: Reinforcing the need to protect your light while acting righteously.

Flow:

Decrease → Repair → Stillness → Hidden Wisdom

The repetition of hexagram 36 and 52 confirms a spiritual message: wisdom must be protected. Not all nourishment is edible. Some is spiritual. Some must be shared quietly.

Blending the Proverb, ZeGoDie, and Scripture

Proverbs 3 tells us not to withhold good when it is in our power. Today’s AlphaGram is 27 — the archetype of feeding. This is the very thing you are called to do. And yet, the branching wisdom of hexagrams 52 and 36 say: “Feed with wisdom. Not every mouth is ready. Not every soul is hungry for truth.”

Jesus said:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

—Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

And:

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine…”

—Matthew 7:6 (KJV)

So the ZeGoDie agree with the proverb: do not withhold good — but discern who and how you give.

Today’s spiritual instruction is clear:

Give what you are empowered to give.

Let God lead your hand.

Do not fear the day of giving — for the Lord is your confidence.

And if your light must be hidden for now — it is not failure. It is wisdom.
