Ep. 40 — Uprightness, Fear of Yahweh & Spiritual Fruit — Matthew 12 & Proverbs 14 (KJV)

Watch Christ Lesson
Proverbs 14:2 (KJV)
“He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.”
This proverb highlights that true fear of Yahweh is expressed in how one walks — not through words alone, but through a life aligned with divine righteousness. This walk is not according to human morality, but Yahweh’s uprightness, the righteousness that comes from God through prayer, obedience, and wisdom.
To walk perversely is to despise the Lord — by resisting His instruction, leaning on one’s own understanding, or justifying selfish choices. In contrast, uprightness is a living reverence, a life submitted to the path of righteousness.
In Matthew 12, Jesus confronts the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. Though they claimed to uphold the law, their hearts were not aligned with the spirit of truth. Jesus healed on the Sabbath and showed that mercy, not sacrifice, is the heart of the Father. Their perverse focus on rules without relationship revealed a walk apart from true fear of God.
How the ZeGoDie Relate to This Episode
Today’s ZeGoDie reading reflects the dynamic of external influence (AlphaGram) and inner refinement (OmegaGram). Just as Proverbs calls for uprightness and warns against perverse ways, the dice show that how we respond to influence now determines our clarity and discipline later.
What the ZeGoDie Are
The ZeGoDie — Rainbow I Ching Oracle Dice is a seven-die spiritual discernment tool that reveals movement across the seven levels of being:
🔴 Body
🟠 Emotion
🟡 Mind
🟢 Intuition
🔵 Voice
🟣 Intention
⚪️ Spirit
Each reading reveals:
- AlphaGram — current influence
- OmegaGram — what is forming or coming
- GrowthGrams — how transformation unfolds
It reflects alignment, correction, or refinement, not prediction.
Today’s ZeGoDie Reading
AlphaGram (Now): 44 — Coming to Meet (Lake over Heaven)
This hexagram represents encounters and influences that arise unexpectedly. It can signify temptation or opportunity, depending on the readiness of the heart. To “come to meet” is to face something that approaches you — whether a person, idea, or energy. The key is discernment.
GrowthGrams from 44 →
- 14 — Possession in Great Measure: True prosperity aligned with heaven
- 13 — Fellowship: Community rooted in shared righteousness
Flow:
Encounter → Discernment → Righteous Prosperity → True Fellowship
This reveals the importance of discernment in present encounters. Not every meeting is blessed unless it is weighed rightly by the Spirit.
OmegaGram (Future): 57 — The Gentle (Wind over Wind)
What comes next is a process of slow, consistent refinement. This is a gentle but steady influence — not dramatic, but deeply shaping.
GrowthGrams from 57 →
- 26 — Taming Power of the Great: Inner discipline and control
- 30 — Radiance: Inner illumination and clarity
Flow:
Refinement → Discipline → Spiritual Illumination
This shows that wisdom grows quietly. The upright are not loud, but grounded and steady — gradually shining brighter as they walk with God.
Blending Proverbs, ZeGoDie, and Matthew 12
Proverbs 14 teaches that walking in uprightness is the way to show reverence for Yahweh. In Matthew 12, Jesus corrects those who appeared religious but lacked mercy and wisdom. True righteousness begins with a heart willing to be shaped by God’s Spirit.
Today’s ZeGoDie reading affirms this truth:
- Present influence (44) demands discernment.
- The future (57) calls for patient refinement.
- Only through discipline (26) does clarity (30) shine.
Those who are perverse in their ways may meet the same encounters — but without wisdom, they are misled. Those who walk uprightly filter every influence through prayer, discernment, and the Word.
To fear Yahweh is to remain aligned — steady under pressure, patient in growth, and gracious in fellowship.
